In the past few months I’ve become some sort of a podcast fiend! Not a day goes by that I’m not tuned into someone’s podcast laughing, nodding my head in agreement, or taking notes. For real, podcasting is an ever growing platform for sharing useful information, entertainment, knowledge building, and brand expansion.
When my husband first put me onto podcasts a couple of years back, I’ll admit that I wasn’t impressed. I was still very much infatuated with Youtube. Youtube was my everything! Well, you know what I mean. While, I’m still completely head over heels for Youtube, I’ve learned that certain content is much better presented in the form of a podcast.
Once I came to this conclusion, jumping into the growing pool of podcasters was clearly the next move for me. Those who know me know that I always have tons to say. Why not record what I’m saying and share it with folks who are eager to listen? Enter, Mama’s Ninnie Milk Life & Times Podcast. The husband and I shook up the world (a sister has to dream right) with the launch of our podcast last week. The feedback has been great, so please keep it coming!
Now that I’ve joined the fiercely fabulous phenomenon of Black women podcasters, I felt it only befitting to share some of my absolute favorites. We already now that Black women are everything, right? So it should come as no surprise when I tell you that this list is long, much longer than you could fathom. I had to narrow it down to my favs and I’ve done you a solid by categorizing and linking directly to the podcast for ease. So check it…
